NPZ Bern

The National Equestrian Center in Bern was founded as a cooperative in 1997 when the Federal Military Horse Institute EMPFA closed its doors. The aim of the cooperative is to provide high-quality, horse-related services. In the twenty years since it was founded, the NPZ has developed into a modern, versatile equestrian business. However, the NPZ remains true to its roots, so the NPZ still provides various services for the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) relating to horses in the army.
