Mitch Byrd, DVM

Dr. Mitch Byrd graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 and started Equine Veterinary Services in Southern Pines, North Carolina. For Mitch, horses have always been a way of life. He grew up around his stepfather’s Thoroughbred breeding farm, has been a licensed NSA trainer, spent time pinhooking yearlings, was an exercise rider, and also has experience fox hunting.
